- Grant Lee Added November 26, 2017★ ★ ★ ★ ★My son Hayden started childcare at Great Beginnings Byford early 2015 and was there until approx. mid 2015. Hayden settled in very quickly and bonded well with the carers and the other children during that time. Due to us relocating to Piara Waters we decided to find a closer centre for our convenience from day to day. We enrolled Hayden into a centre in Harrisdale and within 5months of Hayden being there his personality / attitude changed dramatically, he was coming home depressed, angry and dropping him of in the morning was an absolute nightmare. Among other issues which had to be raised to staff management and the child care board Kerrie and myself become uncomfortable leaving our son at this centre and decided to contact Great Beginnings Byford in a hope to get him enrolled again. Within a short time we were lucky to get a place for our son at the beginning of February 2016. With all honesty within a week we noticed a change in the way Hayden communicated and socialised with us and now 4 months later our son comes home beaming with energy and his bubbly out there approach to life is better then it has ever been. He has made a lot of friends with the carers and other kids but it is the amount of effort his carers put in to making him feel involved and welcome at the centre which i believe has made him excel in his development. The support that Ashleigh and the carers have given us in helping Hayden toilet train at the centre and the helpful tips for at home have been absolutely amazing. The extra travel involved in getting Hayden to daycare is well worth it and we will be keeping Hayden there for as long as we can and would defiantly recommend the centre to friends and family. :)
